Facility Coordinator at the Swedish Armed Forces
As a Facility Coordinator in the Swedish Armed Forces and FMTIS, you are an important part of a successful team in an authority that is experiencing strong growth. Implementation Department Härnösand
FMTIS has four implementation units in Sweden that perform maintenance of the Armed Forces' command systems in the IT and telecommunications area, with the Northern Implementation Unit being one of them. GE Norr consists of the Implementation Departments in Boden, Luleå, Umeå, Härnösand, and Sollefteå. GA Härnösand consists of two sections with different focuses and operates throughout lower Norrland. Sometimes we also reinforce the departments in northern Norrland.
Main Responsibilities
As a Facility Coordinator, you will act as FMTIS's resource to ensure the operation and safety of part of the Armed Forces' facilities in northern Sweden. Your tasks will also include independently conducting the operational representative's self-checks at these facilities, as well as participating in and supporting inspections and inventories. You will serve as a contact point both internally within the Armed Forces and externally with actors such as the Fortifications Agency, the Defence Material Administration, and civilian companies regarding these facilities. The work includes extensive business travel primarily within northern Sweden but also to other parts of the country.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education or equivalent knowledge that the employer can assess as equivalent
- Experience in operational security protection services in environmental work, as well as conducting safety rounds
- Good ability to express oneself orally and in writing in both Swedish and English
- Driver's license B

Meritorious
- Familiarity with the Armed Forces' operations and organization
- Experience working with properties and/or facilities within total defense
- Experience in security protection services, security protection plans/security analyses
- Experience in conducting self-checks and supervision
- Experience working as a BVKF manager or equivalent
- Experience in training staff

Employment type: permanent. The Armed Forces apply a six-month probationary period for those who are not employed by the authority.
