Technical Security Coordinator at Täby Municipality

Do you want to be part of one of Sweden's best property management teams? Täby Municipality is now looking for a Technical Security Coordinator tasked with creating a safe and secure environment for our tenants.

As a Technical Security Coordinator in Täby Municipality's local management unit, your mission is to ensure that the municipality's properties and contracted suppliers maintain a high security standard - regarding alarms, access, fire safety, and other technical installations that require inspection according to Swedish law.

You will also be responsible for proactive monitoring of related legislation and regulatory requirements, as well as driving development issues and coordination of the security technical work within the unit.

You will be part of the local management unit, which consists of property managers, assistant managers, and technical managers, as well as a Technical Security Coordinator – which will become two when this position is filled. The position may be classified in a security class, and a security clearance process including security interviews and background checks may be conducted before employment.

Responsibilities

As a Technical Security Coordinator, you will primarily have the following tasks:

• Management, requirement setting, and coordination of installations within the field of security technology and locks
• Maintenance planning regarding technical security installations including fire alarms
• Monitoring and management of the municipality's contracted entrepreneurs within the area of responsibility
• Ensuring that regulatory inspections are conducted as agreed by contracted entrepreneurs
• Updating and securing documentation within the contractual area
• Reviewing and ordering offered work
• Monitoring budget and investments within the area of responsibility
• Participating in projects
• Participating in procurements concerning entrepreneurs within security technology and regulatory inspections
• Monitoring new technology and legislation within the field of security technology

It may also be relevant to follow up that SBA has been performed by tenants and the municipality's operational contractor.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following qualifications:

• Post-secondary education in the field or equivalent experience
• Experience in a similar role
• Good understanding and experience with security systems such as locks, alarms, and access control
• Good knowledge of various types of technical regulatory inspections such as OVK, elevators, pressure vessels
• Fluent Swedish in both spoken and written form

It is an advantage if you also have:

• Knowledge of Assa Arx
• Knowledge of the key system Iloq
• Experience working in a politically governed organization
• Experience with LOU and procurement, experience with contract management such as AFF or equivalent contract forms
