Operational Leader for the Security Center

About the Role

As an operational leader, you will be part of the Security Center, whose overall goal is to enhance the perceived safety within public transport for SL's passengers and traffic personnel, and be responsible for fire and evacuation in our new bus terminal Katarinaberget.

As an operational leader, you are responsible for ensuring that the work at the Security Center is carried out according to established routines and work processes. Furthermore, you will lead and coordinate operational work during major incidents and act as a contact person for the Traffic Administration's TIB and Press Service, ensuring that the team works with a service-oriented approach and good collaboration.

Responsibilities of the Operational Leader

• Lead and distribute tasks within the operator group and promote a unified working method.
• Maintain a high quality in the execution of tasks and reporting to group managers.
• Contribute to maintaining a good work environment and create favorable conditions for the operator group to carry out its mission.
• Develop and maintain good contact with crisis functions within the Traffic Administration.
• Provide effective support to other functions within the Security area.

We are looking for someone with experience from operational work in a control center, who enjoys being in a leadership position and has the ability to positively lead and motivate a work group.

The position of operational leader places high demands on personal maturity and good self-awareness, as the work at the Security Center is characterized by unpredictability, which may involve serious situations where you need to be a support in a vulnerable or crisis-laden situation.

As a person, you have excellent collaboration skills and thrive in a role where you work with high service towards both internal and external contacts.

Requirements:

• Completed upper secondary education
• Work experience from operational work in a control center

Meritorious:

• Experience as a security operator at the Security Center
• Experience working in a leadership position
• Experience contributing to or driving development work
