We are looking for an experienced pediatrician who wants to take on overall medical responsibility at our pediatric and adolescent unit in Nacka.

The Nacka clinic is part of Sachsska Children's and Youth Hospital, Södersjukhuset, which provides emergency and specialized care for children and adolescents aged 0-17 years. We are a highly specialized outpatient clinic with close hospital collaboration. We work in teams around children and adolescents with chronic illnesses. The clinic has a profile in areas such as neuropsychiatry, allergology, and nephrology. We perform, for example, allergy vaccinations (AIT), urinary flow measurements, and 24-hour blood pressure monitoring. We also have a feeding development team aimed at children aged 6 months to 6 years. There are good opportunities to be involved in the development of new areas of expertise with us.

We who work here are specialist doctors, specialist nurses, psychologists, and medical secretaries. We often have residents with us as well as students completing part of their basic education.

As a pediatrician with us, your responsibilities include your own outpatient work, supervision of colleagues and students, and further development of the operations. In meetings with patients, you will utilize your broad general pediatric competence. You will work both independently and in teams with the patient in focus.

In the role of medical responsible, you will work closely with the unit manager. In this collaboration, you will provide medical expertise and contribute to a holistic view focused on medical issues. The role also includes responsibility for, among other things, medication management, guiding colleagues on medical issues, reviewing and establishing local guidelines, and assisting in prioritizing medical questions. Personnel and budget responsibility are not included.

The position primarily involves full-time work with the main placement at the Nacka clinic, which is located at Nacka Hospital. In addition, there is a daytime BB service on certain weekends at Södersjukhuset.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has developed professional stability so that you can maintain a realistic perspective on different situations and collaborate well in a non-prestigious manner. Furthermore, you demonstrate good judgment, have a holistic view, and contribute with a solution-oriented approach. Competence Requirements

You are a licensed physician with specialist competence in pediatric and adolescent medicine and preferably have worked a few years in the profession. Experience from BUM or equivalent is meritorious. We welcome candidates with experience and interest in allergy/asthma, neuropsychiatry, and medication treatment for ADHD, but also other competencies. Previous experience in leadership responsibility is also advantageous.

You also need to have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
