Job Advertisement: Nurse at Midskogen Care and Nursing Home

We are excited that you are interested in the position of nurse with us! We are looking for a new colleague for Midskogen Care and Nursing Home, located at Gymnasievägen 6 in Luleå.

Midskogen has 82 apartments and several departments, including a specialized department for younger individuals with dementia, short-term care places, and a dementia department for the most severely ill. Pets are allowed in 55 apartments. You will work closely with three other nurses to create safety and well-being for the residents.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will have a varied and developing job where you are responsible for nursing in both care and nursing departments as well as a specialized department for younger individuals with dementia. Together with a competent team, including both internal professionals and external healthcare providers, you contribute to safe and high-quality care. Additionally, you have the freedom to plan your workday based on the patients' needs.

The role also includes:

Planning and implementing care plans
Documentation
Delegation of tasks to nursing staff
Medication management
Training and guidance of staff and patients

Your working hours are according to a schedule, primarily during the day. You will also work evenings and weekends.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a genuine interest and commitment to working with patients who have physical and mental disabilities. Furthermore, we seek someone who has:

Licensed nurse
Good medical competence
Good digital competence
Swedish B driver's license

Previous experience as a nurse and completed specialist training focusing on district nursing or care of the elderly is an advantage.
