What you will work with

The rehabilitation unit is part of the county's pediatric care under Division County Hospital 1. As a PTP psychologist, you will participate in the unit's development work and contribute knowledge based on an evidence-based approach together with other professionals such as licensed psychologists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, social workers, special educators, doctors, and nurses.
You will conduct neuropsychiatric assessments and evaluations, hold conversations with children and adolescents with various disabilities, engage in parent-supportive discussions, and together with the team, lead various group activities. The psychologist is an important part of the rehabilitation team's work around the patient. Interventions are provided at a specialist level to children and young people up to 18 years with permanent diagnoses.

Information about the position

We offer PTP psychologist positions at our clinics in Piteå, Sunderbyn, Kalix, and Gällivare, and we have ads out for all locations. The employment is a PTP placement for 1 year, full-time, daytime. Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreements.

The position is within pediatric care: We apply background checks before hiring decisions according to the provisions of the Act (2013:852) on background checks of persons working with children.
