We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with good knowledge of Swedish and English. It is an advantage if you have knowledge of additional languages and if you have experience in surgical operations and outpatient work.

The surgical outpatient clinic at Sunderby Hospital belongs to the division of Regional Healthcare 2 and the area of General Surgery/Urology. The breast cancer care is very well-functioning. About 300 breast surgeries and approximately 1800 outpatient visits are performed at Sunderby Hospital each year. You will work together with another breast nurse in a team with breast surgeons.

As a contact nurse at the breast clinic, you have a central coordinating role that includes both practical and administrative work.
You will have a varied and responsible job where you, among other things, book outpatient visits and participate in surgical planning. You will be the contact nurse for breast cancer patients and be responsible for fitting breast prostheses. Telephone counseling is also part of your duties, where you provide support and information to patients. You will have your own clinic and meet patients both pre- and post-operatively, as well as participate in development work to improve the outpatient operations. The work involves close collaboration with breast surgeons to ensure the highest quality of care.

We offer permanent employment on a full-time basis, daytime Monday to Friday. Start date according to agreement.
