With us, you will care for all operated patients at Sunderby Hospital. This includes both planned day surgery patients, inpatients, and emergency patients of all ages. We have engaged and competent colleagues, and we are a wonderful team with a great atmosphere, where we now need to grow.

We are looking for

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form. Previous experience in postoperative or day surgery is advantageous. Experience with Cosmic and Provisio, as well as good computer skills, Word, and Excel, are also beneficial. It is also advantageous if you have worked as a nurse for at least two years. Personal qualities are highly valued. As a person, you are stable, service-oriented, and structured. You have the courage to act according to your own convictions. You have good collaboration skills as you value and see the benefits of working with others.

This is what you will work with

Our department belongs to the AnOpIva clinic. The work at DKE/UVA/POP is varied and educational. Here you will meet patients of all ages, with a wide variety of surgical procedures. We have all surgical specialties represented. At POP, patients who have undergone major surgery with a more demanding and longer postoperative course are cared for. We provide round-the-clock care every day of the year. UVA has 10 monitoring places, as well as a separate children's UVA with 5 monitoring places and its own pediatric flow. We also have an anesthesiologist clinic. UVA/DKE is open Monday - Thursday between 07:00 - 20:00 and Fridays from 07:00 - 16:00. We prioritize rotation between these units.

Information about the position

We offer you a permanent full-time position. Working hours are rotating day/evening/night shifts. Start date by agreement. Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreements.
