About the Job

A-Staffing is handling the recruitment on behalf of Thoruns, who will then hire the final candidate.

The position is a full-time permanent role based at the company in Eskilstuna (On-site). Travel during the workday is common to visit construction projects. In this role, you will have close collaboration with other colleagues and can expect to take on new roles as needed. The team spirit is strong, the goals are clear, and the atmosphere is good!

Job Description

Your main responsibility is to prepare documentation for the manufacturing of steel partitions (Forster profile system), perform quality work, and have technical responsibility for the products. You will lead and distribute tasks within the construction department.

You are expected to have a good understanding of how function, design, and construction can be integrated effectively while considering economic frameworks and technical requirements.

During the project, you will be responsible for updating drawing documentation in case of changes. You will work closely with clients and follow a common timeline, which requires good planning skills and independent project management. The role also involves participating in construction meetings and other necessary meetings to drive the project forward. Additionally, you will collaborate with the workshop manager during the manufacturing of the products.

Education and Certificates

Completed high school education or higher education preferably in technology/construction
Post-secondary education in construction technology or equivalent is an advantage
Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written
Driving license B

Experience

At least five years of professional experience in a similar role
Good experience in drawing in AutoCAD.
Experience in manufacturing aluminum/steel partitions
Experience in the construction industry
