About the Company

This recruitment is conducted in collaboration between Momec and NearYou. We at NearYou handle the selection process. The employment is a permanent position directly with Momec. Fixed monthly salary and working hours are scheduled during the day.

Momec is an experienced player in the development and manufacturing of safe and certified steel doors, with over 50 years of experience in the marine and offshore industry. They provide weather- and fire-resistant sliding doors as well as soundproof cabin doors to shipyards and shipping companies worldwide. In addition to their standard products, Momec creates customized solutions in sheet metal and pipes, and their capacity and expertise are constantly growing in line with demand. Momec is part of the Weland Group and operates in newly renovated premises in Bottnaryd, where they work on further developing their products and are looking for employees who want to contribute to their planned growth.

Job Description

As a designer at Momec, your main responsibility will be to develop construction and manufacturing documentation for our products. In your role, you will work closely with the production team and our customers to create quality and innovative solutions. The role also involves developing prototypes in sheet metal and using Solid Works as the main tool for product design and drawing documentation.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

A high school or university education in a relevant field, or equivalent work experience.
Good knowledge of Solid Works and experience working systematically in business systems. We use Monitor, and experience from work and preparation in Monitor is particularly meritorious.
Experience in practical workshop work, especially in sheet metal processing.
A meticulous and structured work style, and who enjoys working in a team.
Good communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
