Beslag & Metall is a family-owned company located in Ekenässjön with over 85 years of experience in pressing, welding, and assembly, where we constantly expand and renew our machinery with automatic presses and automation cells. We manufacture and deliver components primarily to the automotive industry, and our largest customers are Volvo Trucks and Scania. We have 230 employees, a turnover of approximately 950 million, and we need to strengthen the organization with an automation technician.

Job Description

As an automation technician, the work is mainly independent, allowing you to take responsibility for your work and plan your workday. You will belong to the technology group and report to the Technical Manager. Your tasks will include:

• Participating in project groups for new investments, renovations, and changes.
• Commissioning automation facilities.
• Programming robots and other control systems.
• Collaborating with production and maintenance teams to optimize processes and improve efficiency and quality.

As you grow in your role with us, there is room for you and your tasks to develop and take on more responsibility.

Qualifications

To succeed in the role of automation technician with us, we see that you have several years of experience as a technician or automation electrician and now want to take the next step in your career. You have previously worked with robot programming and are familiar with RobotStudio. Experience in robotic welding is an advantage.

We believe that you, as an applicant, are driven and flexible and enjoy being “hands-on” in projects. You have a strong interest in technology and enjoy learning new skills as well as sharing your knowledge with others. Sometimes not all answers are in front of you, but you find it fun and motivating to think differently and find new solutions.
