Job Responsibilities

The assignment involves the consultant handling claims primarily within the personal injury unit's student and travel insurance. The work involves assessing and analyzing various types of documentation and making decisions on compensation based on insurance terms and practices. The job requires extensive contact and communication with insured individuals, healthcare providers, and authorities. Some of the insured are foreign citizens, and therefore our handling and communication also take place in English. The consultant will work with claims adjustment and be part of a team for student and travel claims.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who can develop an interest in claims adjustment and other insurance matters, is engaged in their work, is willing to grow together with their colleagues, and has completed their university studies and is at the beginning of their career.

The personal injury unit has the following requirements for the assignment:

• A university degree that the employer deems relevant for the position.
• Experience gained through either studies or work where you have analyzed information and drawn your own conclusions and made independent decisions.
• Current experience in investigative case handling tasks.
• High digital maturity and knowledge.
• Ability to express yourself very clearly and well-formulated both orally and in writing in Swedish and English.

You are offered

A consulting assignment that involves a fixed-term employment as a claims adjuster for the period from 2025-05-01 to 2026-02-28. After that, the client has the option to extend the contract once for three months, which means that the latest end date for the assignment can be May 28, 2026. The assignment is full-time and will be carried out in the client's activity-based premises in Karolinen in Karlstad. There is some possibility for remote work.
