About the client:

A cheerful and active teenage girl with Down syndrome is looking for a new female companion/reliever to have fun with! Every other Thursday (even weeks) she attends a leisure activity, and you need to meet her at home at 14:30 and take a taxi to the activity. On odd weeks, you will take a taxi to another activity at 16:15. She would love to visit the gym with you 2-3 times a month. The assignment is also performed in the client's home, and you should view this as a long-term commitment, as you will have a significant impact on this girl's life. There is an opportunity to work more hours.

Qualifications/Requirements for the companion/reliever:

• Over 35 years old
• Female
• Experience with children
• Fluent in Swedish
• Access to a car is preferred, as public transport is limited to the client's home

About the position:

From 20 hours/month, weekdays and weekends. Start as soon as possible.

As a companion, you will accompany a client with a disability on various activities. This may include shopping, visiting museums, or perhaps going for a walk. As a reliever, you will provide respite for relatives, for example, for a child with a disability in the home or local area. This can be to give parents some time for themselves with other siblings.
