We are now looking for an experienced tool designer with a passion for technology, production, and industrial solutions for an assignment in the aerospace industry.

About the Role

In this role, you will work at the intersection of product development and production. You will be responsible for developing smart and efficient tool concepts for assembly and final assembly, as well as composite manufacturing. The assignment involves both technical development and support for existing production in a high-tech environment with a strong focus on lean, buildability, and automation.

Your Responsibilities Include:

Defining tools and developing manufacturing and tooling concepts.
Creating, reviewing, and approving technical documentation.
Dialogue and collaboration with customers and suppliers.
Ensuring that tools meet requirements for buildability and ergonomics.
Technical support to tool suppliers.
Introducing new technology and supporting existing production.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with a solid background in mechanical engineering, design, or production technology. You have experience working with production tools and a good understanding of industrial processes.

To succeed in this role, we see that you have:

Experience in design and tool design within industrial production.
Good knowledge of CAD and technical documentation.
The ability to lead and delegate work and conduct design reviews.
Experience in automation is a plus.
Good communication skills in Swedish and English.
