Specialist Doctor/General Practitioner at Färila-Los Din Health Center

Färila-Los Din Health Center has approximately 4000 registered patients and is part of the primary care area in Ljusdal. Here, there is also a 24/7 family doctor emergency service, a primary care department, and day care, all of which are important partners. Färila is centrally located in the country, three hours by train from Stockholm, and offers a rich outdoor life both in winter and summer. During the winter season, there is proximity to Järvsöbacken, one of Sweden's most visited ski resorts, which also offers a mountain bike park in the summer. Färila is surrounded by beautiful waters suitable for fishing, kayaking, and swimming.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

With us, we focus on the common patient, and as a doctor, you will have the opportunity to participate in our ongoing development work. Currently, we have a general practitioner and a specialist in internal medicine working with us. As a specialist in general medicine or a doctor with another suitable background, you will work both independently and in a team with an engaged and secure workgroup. The team includes district nurses, reception nurses, BVC nurses, diabetes nurses, and nursing assistants in our lab. We also have psychosocial and rehabilitation staff working across the organization, based in Ljusdal. This allows us to offer our patients the care and treatment we stand for.

The tasks are very varied. In addition to our regular patients, we take care of a large number of visiting guests during the tourist season. At our health center, we welcome training doctors, and we have doctors with extensive experience in supervision as well as very good collaboration among all colleagues in the workplace. Our strength lies in our good cooperation and in creating a welcoming work environment for everyone.

The position is a full-time position, but other flexible solutions are possible.

As a specialist doctor/general practitioner with us, you will

QUALIFICATIONS

The work requires that you have the ability to structure, organize, and prioritize to drive your work forward effectively. As a person, we see that you can work independently, are attentive, and have an easy time collaborating and communicating with others. You show both the willingness and ability to help others and are open to and interested in change and development, as well as appreciating a varied job in a development-intensive environment.

As a specialist doctor/general practitioner with us, you should

  • hold a Swedish medical license
  • have specialist training in general medicine or other specialist competence
  • communicate fluently in Swedish, both spoken and written, at least at C1 level.
