Personal assistance is a service according to LSS (The Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and privacy, and contribute to making everyday life run smoothly.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiatives and see what needs to be done.

We are now looking for someone who fits the following criteria:

• wants to work with a 55-year-old woman living in Liljeholmskajen
• has good knowledge of Swedish
• has experience with ALS
• has experience with tracheostomy.

It is also advantageous if you:

• are a trained nursing assistant or nurse
• have experience communicating using a letter board
• have experience with cough machines, PEG, or respirators.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The positions are summer vacancies at approximately 80-100%.

Position 1: day and evening shifts. Working hours are either 08:00–16:00 or 16:00–22:00.

Position 2: night shifts. Working hours are active nights between 22:00–08:00.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations are according to collective agreements.

Start date

according to agreement, but you must be available for work during weeks 22-34.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

According to legislation, we as employers are required to request a criminal record extract from all employees who will work as personal assistants for a child under 18 years old. Therefore, you need to present an extract from the police's criminal record before a possible employment. Further information will be provided if you proceed in the recruitment process.
