Your Assignment

Nyckelviken is a short-term residence under LSS for children and young people up to 24 years old with intellectual disabilities. As a summer substitute, you will have a varied and meaningful job. At Nyckelviken, we work to create fun and meaningful short-term stays. The goal is for everyone to have a meaningful leisure time based on individual needs and conditions.

The short-term residence consists of two single-story villas, where all children and young people live in their own rooms. As a summer substitute, you will provide support and service to the children and young people based on their individual needs. You will also help create pedagogical activity schedules at both individual and group levels. When possible, you will go on excursions with the short-term residence's minibus.

Your Tasks Are Varied, Such as Support and Service in:

• Cooking, cleaning, morning and evening routines
• Personal care, hygiene, and medication
• Documentation
• Daily and weekly planning
• Contact with relatives, parents, and schools
• Excursions and activities

At Nyckelviken Short-Term Residence, you will work during the day, evening, weekends, or awake nights. Weekdays involve working hours from 06:30-11:30 or 14:30-21:30; on weekends, shifts may be longer. An introduction will always take place before the intended work. Your Experience

To be considered for the position, it is a requirement that you:

• Are at least 18 years old
• Have very good knowledge of Swedish (both spoken and written)
• Have good physical ability

It is an advantage if you have previous experience working with the target group within LSS and children and young people, as well as if you have ongoing or completed education in health and care, or child and leisure studies. We also prefer that you have a B driver's license and experience with computers and documentation.

As a summer substitute, you will be employed by the Staffing and Competence Development Department, which has the primary task of coordinating and ensuring the quality of staffing care personnel during short-term absences and monthly substitutes. We offer you the opportunity to work as a substitute both before and after your summer position.

About the Employment

• We require that you have the opportunity to attend an introduction/work as a substitute during the spring before the summer position

• To create continuity for our residents, you should be able to work for a longer continuous period during June-August.
