About me:

I am an active 27-year-old guy living in Huddinge center. To live a life like everyone else, I need personal assistants by my side. When I communicate, I use alternative communication in the form of Bliss. On weekdays, I attend a daily activity center (DV), and in my spare time, I use my computer a lot and I both train and compete in the sport of FrameRunning. In winter, I sometimes go to the ski slopes where I use a Biskii. I also travel, both within and outside Sweden. My assistants accompany me in all these situations and in other activities I engage in. As you can see, I am very active, but I also enjoy quiet days at home.

About you:

Right now, I am looking for someone who is down-to-earth and confident in themselves. I appreciate that you are organized and attentive. It is important that you see the job as a personal assistant as a long-term collaboration with me. I value that you have a professional pride in your role as an assistant. If this describes you, I am convinced that you will fit perfectly into my wonderful assistant team and have fun at work. It is a requirement that you have previous experience as a personal assistant or in healthcare. It is also desirable that you have experience with alternative communication and tube feeding via button/PEG. It is crucial that you master the Swedish language in both spoken and written form for our communication to work. You should be smoke-free, able to swim, and between 25-40 years old.

Staffing:

This position includes an extended (and compensated) staffing assignment which means that some weeks you must be reachable at times other than working hours, to call in a substitute or step in and assist when intervention is required. This is Assistans i Balans's way of ensuring that our clients always have a familiar assistant by their side. The assignment is shared by all assistants working according to a regular schedule.

The position:

Is a temporary position at 75% with working hours primarily during the day and evenings on a rolling schedule, with a possibility of extension. To be employed, you must present valid ID, a personal certificate, a police record extract, and any documents that support your right to work in Sweden.
