The primary school/special needs school operations are part of the Education Administration. The operations include 21 primary schools and a special needs school, with a total of about 4500 students. Five of the primary schools are upper secondary schools, while the others, with a few exceptions, cover grades F-6. The operations also include after-school care. Marieberg School is a school for everyone as it encompasses everything from preschool to grade 9 along with special needs education. Marieberg School is where students, parents, and staff experience safety, trust, and community. The goal of the operations is for everyone to succeed based on their conditions, and the foundation for this is a positive school climate, staff engagement, and pedagogical skill. The school is characterized by very good cohesion, a warm climate, and dedicated teachers who support each other and help each other to reach as far as possible.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for you who are a qualified teacher!

For Marieberg School 7-9, we are now seeking a teacher with qualifications to teach in science and technology. Mathematics may also be relevant. The work includes mentorship and regular teaching duties. You will have close collaboration with subject colleagues/grade colleagues, the school's student health, and your work team.

QUALIFICATIONS

For Marieberg School 7-9, we are looking for a teacher with certification and qualifications to teach in science subjects and technology, possibly also mathematics. As a teacher, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating teaching in grades 7-9. As a natural part of the work, close contact with students and guardians is also included. The ability to adapt teaching at group and individual levels and to create safe and inspiring learning environments is of utmost importance, where students are seen as co-actors.

You have the ability to work with other people; to listen, show empathy, and respect. You are unpretentious and recognize and reward others' contributions. You have the ability to plan and organize your work. You easily set goals, organize resources, follow up, and complete activities. You can adapt to changing conditions. You encourage and support change initiatives. You easily adapt your behavior in relation to the needs of others.

The position is a permanent employment if qualifications and teacher certification exist. If formal qualifications are lacking, the position can be offered as a temporary employment. Prior to employment, a certificate from the Police's criminal record register is required.
