Physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and rehabilitation assistants together form Sundsvall Municipality Rehab. We all sit together in our beautiful premises in Nacksta. Physiotherapists and occupational therapists complement each other in geographical teams, where collaboration in interdisciplinary teams is a central part of the work.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a physiotherapist with us, interventions are carried out in the patient's own home, in special housing, and in social psychiatric housing. The physiotherapist's work is very varied; you prioritize and organize your workday both independently and together with your colleagues based on the cases you are responsible for.

We have a close interdisciplinary collaboration with occupational therapists, nurses, rehabilitation assistants, care staff, and unit managers. You will participate in regular team meetings with the needs of the care and support recipients in focus.

As a physiotherapist with us, you will conduct functional assessments, utilize and develop the physical functions of care and support recipients through both specific training and everyday rehabilitation in the patient's home environment. Most individuals want to be as independent as possible, which you will help facilitate with your specific expertise. You will also have interventions that are preserving and compensatory. You will assess the need for and prescribe personal assistive devices. Guidance, advice, support, and instruction to care and support recipients, relatives, and care staff are important parts of the work.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed physiotherapist who has a genuine interest in elderly care.

You should be able to communicate well verbally and in writing in Swedish.

As a person, you are responsible and comfortable structuring and planning your own work, as well as making independent decisions within the framework of your assignment.

You find it easy to collaborate with others and see the value of good cooperation.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

The work involves driving, and you must have a B driver's license for manual transmission.
