Mimerskolan is an independent primary school (grades 4-9) operated as a non-profit association without profit motives. The school is located in Haga, near the Norra Berget outdoor area. Our pedagogy is characterized by a flexible working method that is thematically integrated to provide students with the best possible conditions for learning from a holistic perspective. The school has two profiles: music and sports and health. Our student groups are small, with about 15 students per group. The school has good academic results and a dedicated and skilled staff.

As a school nurse at Mimerskolan, you will work in a health-promoting and preventive manner to support students' development and well-being. You are part of the school's student health team and collaborate with other staff to create a safe and inclusive school environment that promotes learning and development. Your medical expertise is an important part of this work.

Your main tasks include conducting health visits and health conversations, performing vision and hearing tests, and being responsible for vaccinations according to the national vaccination program. You also have an advisory role towards students, guardians, and school staff in medical matters. Documentation is carried out in accordance with applicable legislation in our operational system, Prorenata Journal.

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed nurse, preferably with experience in student health. You are confident in your professional role, work independently, and have a structured work style. Your ability to meet students, guardians, and colleagues in a responsive and professional manner is important. You have good knowledge of record-keeping and are accustomed to working in digital operational systems.
