Primary care plays a central role in first-line care, which should be based on a holistic perspective for each individual patient. We are a smaller health center with about 4800 registered patients located 10 miles from the hospital. We have a child health clinic and three special accommodations connected to us. We have 4 general practitioners and 2 resident doctors working with us. We are a cheerful team with many different professions. We have a well-functioning rehab team and we operate in pleasant facilities. We are now looking for a resident doctor to join our team based in Ånge. The residency placement has a rural medical profile.

Resident doctor in general medicine at Hälsocentralen Ånge

Job Responsibilities

The work as a resident doctor at the health center spans a wide range of responsibilities and encompasses general medical competence with patients of all ages and situations.

• You will work independently and variably with outpatient care.
• Supervision is provided by an experienced specialist who offers you support and knowledge exchange.
• You will have allocated time to participate in the seminars offered and time for your own studies.
• You are an integral part of the health center's and the medical team's development and meetings.
• Your individual study plan will be established together with your supervisor and study director.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who

• Is a licensed physician with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare.
• Is a licensed physician with an approved internship.
• Has language skills in Swedish in spoken and written form at least at level C1 according to the Council of Europe’s scale.
• Has a valid driver's license (B).

• Have work experience in primary care.
