We strive to maintain competence around the clock in our hematological department, which is crucial for ensuring safe and effective care for our patients. This is a prerequisite for providing patient-safe care while maintaining a good working environment. Our department is staffed with competent doctors, nursing assistants, and nurses, where the night team particularly has extensive experience in hematology, high competence, and good collaboration skills.

The position is a permanent full-time employment, with start date according to agreement.

Job Responsibilities

As a nurse with us in hematology, your responsibilities will include taking care of patients with general medical and hematological diseases during the night. You will manage medications, work with nursing, risk assessments, follow-ups, and nutrition. We also handle cytostatics after special training and education. At night, you will also be responsible for telephone counseling for hematological patients in acute conditions. For patients with hematological diseases who suffer from complications and deteriorate, we have direct admissions.

We value person-centered care and good teamwork among our various competencies to optimize patient treatment and rehabilitation, even during the night hours.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who

• Is a licensed nurse
• Has good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form

It is an advantage if you

• Have a complete nursing assistant education
• Have worked as a nursing assistant and/or nurse in a medical department with a focus on hematology and/or oncology
