The psychiatric clinic in Härnösand is an outpatient psychiatric clinic that assesses, investigates, and treats patients in need of specialist psychiatry. We work in teams consisting of doctors, psychologists, social workers, nurses, and medical secretaries. The clinic has three experienced psychologists with different specializations who can provide excellent support.

Härnösand municipality has about 26,000 inhabitants and is located by the High Coast, a beautiful summer town. The clinic is situated right by the sea, which contributes to a good working environment. We offer our employees a wellness hour per week where you can utilize our own gym, Energikällan.

In the coming year, we will be making an effort to improve our accessibility regarding psychological treatment and psychological assessments, focusing primarily on NPF assessments. Therefore, we are looking for someone interested in becoming part of our team. Our strength lies in broad competence and teamwork. All patient groups come to the clinic, so you will gain a comprehensive understanding of what specialist psychiatry entails. Opportunities for consultation within various services in the region are excellent.

Do you want to be part of our team? We are now seeking a psychologist for a one-year temporary position, with the possibility of extension. The position is full-time with a start date of 2025-06-01 or by agreement.

Job Responsibilities

As a psychologist with us, your work will involve:

• In-depth diagnostic assessments
• Diagnostic evaluations
• Assessment of appropriate treatment
• Psychotherapy (CBT or PDT)
• Psychoeducation
• Consultation with other professionals

Access to supervision is available for both treatment and assessment work.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who

• Is a licensed psychologist
• Has experience in psychiatric treatment and assessment work or working with individuals with psychiatric issues
• Has good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form

It is an advantage if you

• Have good knowledge of English in both spoken and written form
