The County Psychiatric and Rehabilitation Care coordinates county healthcare for adult psychiatry, child and adolescent psychiatry, and rehabilitation in Region Västernorrland. The county healthcare services are provided at three hospitals: Sundsvall, Sollefteå, and Örnsköldsvik, as well as at several clinics located in various towns in the region. The area has approximately 700 employees.

The LARO-clinic works with medication-assisted treatment and rehabilitation for individuals with opioid dependence. In your profession, you support the patient in adhering to treatment and planned interventions, and maintain contact with relevant healthcare providers, medication management, and administration. Sample collection and administrative work are included in the position. At the LARO-clinic, you will work alongside nurses, treatment assistants, medical secretaries, social workers, doctors, and unit managers.

Nurse for the LARO clinic, Sundsvall

Job Responsibilities

As a nurse at the LARO clinic, you will be offered an exciting job where you can combine psychosocial treatment and medical treatment. We work in teams where the patient's rehabilitation goals from their addiction disease are the focus. Working as a nurse in the LARO service involves a large part of

• administration of substitution medications,
• clinical assessments of patients during visits to the clinic,
• medication management,
• participating in joint forums,
• administrative work,
• contact and collaboration with relevant healthcare providers.

Through your work, you will gain in-depth knowledge of working within psychiatry and experience in addiction care within psychiatric specialist care. You will receive an introduction from experienced staff on-site. At the LARO clinic, you will work daytime Monday to Friday. Weekend work may occur, which means 1 weekend out of 5 and only between 8 AM and 1 PM.

We are looking for someone who

• Is a licensed nurse
• Has good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form

It is advantageous for the position if you

• Have further education in the field of addiction, dependence, and/or psychiatry
• Have relevant work experience in the profession
