We at Department 7 are now looking for a nurse to join our team. As a nurse, it is important to have a strong interest in people with dependency issues, patience, and the ability to empathize with others' situations. We work from a patient-centered approach. Collaboration with social services and other community actors in the dependency field is an important part of the work. We also collaborate with AA and NA, who hold weekly meetings in the department.

At Department 7, we have a clear focus on the work environment. We help and support each other and care for our relationships. We strive to make Department 7 an attractive workplace. Supervision is provided every other week.

The position is a permanent full-time employment, with start date according to agreement. Desired schedule includes days, evenings, and nights with work every third weekend. We use a competence ladder.

The position currently involves night shifts, but this may change in the future based on the needs of the operation.

Job Responsibilities

As a nurse with us, you will work with:

• Psychiatric care
• Withdrawal treatment/observation
• Assessments and sampling
• Evaluations
• Supportive and motivational conversations
• Medication management such as tablets, injections
• Participate in and lead rounds
• Documentation
• Supervise students, other staff, and introduce new employees

Additional Information

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who

• Is a licensed nurse with an interest in addiction care
• Has good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form

It is an advantage if you

• Have specialized training in psychiatry
• Have work experience in psychiatry
• Have additional language skills
