Geriatrics

Do you want to work as a nurse with the exciting mix of infection and lung medicine as well as geriatric care? The geriatric ward has 14 care places, distributed across these two different areas of care.

We are a staff group with broad competence, good atmosphere, and a positive attitude! Here we work with continuous improvements through methods such as the Green Cross and apply a person-centered approach. You contribute as part of the team to change work and development of the care ward.

Your Responsibilities

As a nurse, you are responsible for the care of patients, which means you make qualified assessments, interpret patients' needs, and carry out nursing measures in consultation with the patient.

On the geriatric ward, you have a varied and responsible job. Sometimes you need to act quickly, and sometimes a patient or relative needs more time.

As a nurse, you work closely with nursing assistants, doctors, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists regarding your patients. Modern healthcare requires us to collaborate as a well-functioning team to ensure good patient safety.

Who Are You?

You who are applying are a licensed nurse.

If you have experience working in an infectious disease ward and/or geriatric ward, it is an advantage, as is having specialist training.

With an empathetic approach, you see the whole patient and their needs. You can quickly adapt to changing conditions and adjust your working methods based on the situation. We value that you are interested in working for your own as well as the department's development.

Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.

Before a hiring decision is made, a background check will be conducted through an extract from the criminal record.
