The Central Hospital in Kristianstad (CSK) is the emergency hospital for northeastern Skåne. Here, emergency care is provided around the clock by qualified and dedicated staff. CSK has the resources of a large hospital combined with the closeness and community of a smaller hospital. The hospital offers residents in the catchment area care across all specialties. We have about 2,600 employees.

The Rehabilitation Unit is an independent operational area responsible for rehabilitation efforts in all inpatient wards at CSK. The unit participates in team and day care activities primarily within medicine and pediatrics. Additionally, specialized outpatient care in medicine, orthopedics, and surgery is conducted, encompassing approximately 18,000 visits per year. The unit also runs geriatric day rehabilitation for individuals with acquired neurological diseases and specialized home rehabilitation according to the ESD (Early Supported Discharge) concept. The Rehabilitation Unit has about 65 employees with the following professions: occupational therapists, physiotherapists, nursing assistants, and medical secretaries.

In the surgery and rehabilitation team, we are eleven competent physiotherapists currently seeking a driven colleague. In surgery, we staff urology, vascular surgery, colorectal, gynecology, ear, nose and throat, surgical acute care, and intensive care units.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be part of our surgical team, a positive group that supports each other in daily work and has a high motivation to strive forward and develop. As a physiotherapist with us, you will contribute your specific professional expertise through various assessments and treatments of patients, both independently and in collaboration with, among others, the occupational therapist. Together with the team around the patient, you will create the best conditions for good and safe care with the patient in focus. You play a significant role in planning for the patient's discharge.

We currently have one physiotherapist with a specialist position and four physiotherapists training to become specialists, and we are eager to see more employees specialize.

Working hours are primarily scheduled during daytime, Monday to Friday. Some weekend work may occur. The position is a parental leave substitute for at least 12 months, covering inpatient work in the surgical department (urology, vascular, colorectal).

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you as a licensed physiotherapist with authorization to practice within Swedish healthcare. Your language skills correspond to at least level C1 in Swedish according to the Council of Europe's scale.
