Personal assistance is an intervention according to LSS (The Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks will vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and privacy, and contribute to making everyday life run smoothly.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant requires a high ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiatives and see what needs to be done.

Your tasks will include being present as a personal assistant in daily activities and assisting with horseback riding once a week. The horseback riding requires double assistance. You will also participate in educational meals with the client during your work shift. Other activities may include swimming in a pool and gym training. The client's main interests are movies, music, cooking, and animals.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

• wants to work with a 32-year-old girl living in Vallastaden in Linköping
• lives in Linköping or nearby
• has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• is non-smoker

It is also advantageous if you:

• have experience in similar work
• have a B driver's license
• have knowledge of sign language
• share the client's interests

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The current employment form is "As long as the assistance assignment lasts". We are currently looking for two people for two positions of approximately 75% each. The employment rate can be discussed if you, as an applicant, have other preferences. The position involves work during daytime, evening, and night, on weekdays and weekends.

We are also looking for hourly substitutes who can work as needed. Working hours are varied during the day, evening, and night, on weekdays and weekends.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations will be in accordance with collective agreements.

Start date

Immediately or according to agreement.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you, as an applicant, can present valid ID and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
