Rio care and nursing home is centrally located in Gärdet.

The facility provides care and support for the elderly with somatic and cognitive illnesses, focusing on the individual according to applicable laws and guidelines. The organization has high-quality goals and works to create a living environment where the elderly experience safety, well-being, and meaning. Employees are committed to considering the individual needs, wishes, and requirements of the elderly and to creating participation in the design of the support provided.

Your role as a nursing assistant

As a nursing assistant, you will provide good care and social support to the elderly according to decisions made by the assistance officer. You will help and support the residents in daily life, such as personal hygiene, meals, and activities. You always base your planning and execution of care on the residents' needs and wishes. You will also have contact with relatives. Your goal is to maintain high quality together with colleagues to create an environment where residents feel comfortable and safe.

Your skills and experience

You should have:

• a high school education in the nursing program, health care, or another education deemed equivalent by the employer.
• experience in the profession
• the ability to speak and write Swedish fluently.

We place great emphasis on personal qualities and need someone who is meticulous, self-driven, and has personal maturity. You should also be service-oriented and responsive to the residents' needs. You value diversity and understand that different backgrounds, cultures, and group affiliations can affect oneself and others in various ways. You have good collaboration skills and are willing to share your own knowledge and experiences while being open to learning from others. You have empathy in your interactions with people and a genuine interest in working in the profession.

Other

The role involves day/evening and weekend work. To work with the elderly and people with disabilities in their homes in Stockholm, you must provide a criminal record extract.
