Ward 5 is a child and adolescent psychiatric care ward with 6 beds. We cover the entire Örebro County and accept youths up to 18 years old with severe psychiatric conditions for acute admissions. As a patient, you will be admitted together with a guardian, and the goal of the inpatient period is primarily to stabilize the acute poor mental health so that you can continue working at home and in our outpatient care.

At Ward 5, we work in a positive and cohesive team consisting of nurses, caregivers, doctors, social workers, teachers, and unit managers.

Child and adolescent psychiatry is part of specialized psychiatric care. The organization includes outpatient clinics, enhanced outpatient care, and full-day care with emergency services. Together, we are about 160 employees working with common processes and goals. We work in multiprofessional teams based on a holistic view of the individual. We strive to promote the child's mental health and development, as well as the involvement of relatives in the care. Job Responsibilities

The job responsibilities include close nursing and patient work in the form of relationship building, supportive conversations, and motivational work. Medication management is part of the position, as well as contact with relatives present on the ward and collaboration with our outpatient care and other care neighbors. As a nurse, you will lead and distribute work during your shift, and together with the rest of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring that patients receive good care and recovery.

We actively work on development projects and supervision to safely and professionally take on our mission. The position includes night shifts every third weekend, and we have a work-adapted schedule.

As we in Psychiatry care about our patients and value patient safety highly, we will request extracts from suspicion and criminal records from the National Police Board during the recruitment process. Qualifications

Licensed nurse, preferably a specialist nurse with a focus on psychiatry.
