About us

Our ASIH units at night are located near public transport, and you can choose to start from Handen, Tullinge, Söderort (Årstaberg), and Värmdö (Gustavsberg).

At Aleris ASIH, we work in multiprofessional teams with doctors, nurses, occupational therapists, dietitians, social workers, nursing assistants, and physiotherapists to provide our patients with the best care. We operate from several geographical locations in Stockholm County. Aleris ASIH is part of Aleris Primary Care, which also includes two specialized palliative care departments, Basic Home Care, Rehab Station, and Uppsala Emergency Care.

Our organization has extensive experience in providing ASIH, and today we have nine different ASIH teams in the southern parts of Stockholm County. We have high competence and a well-established working method, and we run a well-functioning palliative inpatient care department with 24 beds located at Handens Sjukhus. Within ASIH, we care for severely ill patients who are treated in their own homes and require advanced care interventions that would otherwise be provided in inpatient care. Our goal is to create conditions for the best possible quality of life, regardless of where the patient is cared for. This includes providing the best possible symptom control and relief based on the patient's own wishes and through high availability around the clock.

Everyone in our multiprofessional team collaborates closely to meet the patients' needs in the best possible way. We work person-centered and use the 6 S's as support in our approach. We also actively work on the introduction of digitalization and medical technology in healthcare, such as video visits with messaging functions and the use of various types of pumps for pain relief and antibiotics.

The Role

Within ASIH, we care for severely ill patients who are treated in their own homes and require advanced medical interventions that would otherwise be provided in inpatient care. Our goal is to create conditions for high patient safety and the best possible quality of life, regardless of where the patient is cared for. This includes providing the best possible treatment, symptom control, and relief based on the patient's own wishes and through high availability around the clock.

In the night team, there is a high level of support, and we assist each other in our work. During the summer, we are four nurses every night who work together to provide the best care for our patients.

About You

As a person We are looking for someone who values providing good care, a personal approach, and who maintains high quality in patient work through professionalism. As a nurse, you are used to working independently and easily adapt to the different situations you encounter. We also appreciate your willingness to engage in the development of the organization and work with your colleagues to promote modern and effective care.

Background You are a licensed nurse, preferably with an interest in palliative care and advanced home healthcare. Previous experience working in ASIH, emergency care, and/or oncology care, preferably hematology, as well as other relevant experiences are meritorious.

You are:

• a licensed nurse, preferably with experience in ASIH or emergency care, oncology care, preferably hematology. At least three years of experience as a nurse
• communicative
• attentive, empathetic, and present with integrity and high loyalty
• have a positive attitude, thrive in a sometimes high-paced work environment, and have a good ability to prioritize and structure your work
• flexible and open to new challenges, interested in development, think outside the box, and find new solutions
• have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• have a B driver's license, which is a requirement
