Nurse for General Psychiatry

Job Responsibilities

With us, you will be an obvious part of the care team. You will have collegial community and the opportunity for a lot of patient contact. You have a genuine interest in individuals with psychiatric diagnoses and mental illness and how, through teamwork, both internally and externally, and together with relatives, you can support the individual through person-centered interventions and a clear care plan.

With us, there is the opportunity to work both in the outpatient clinic and in our specialist psychiatric care team, known as SPOT. We currently have space in both of our operations, and if you find it interesting, we can arrange a combined position for you. In the outpatient clinic, you will have patients in individual treatment and follow-up, and in SPOT, you will make home visits and follow-ups together with a colleague.

The outpatient clinic and the specialist psychiatric care team are located in facilities at Lindesberg Hospital. Many employees in the unit commute from, for example, Örebro. There are good train and bus connections between Örebro and Lindesberg, and it is within walking distance from Lindesberg Travel Center to the hospital.

As we in Psychiatry care about our patients and value patient safety highly, we will, in connection with the recruitment, request extracts from the suspicion and criminal records from the National Police Board. Qualifications

Licensed nurse. Training as a psychiatric nurse is an advantage.
