voco® Stockholm – Kista is located in the business-dense Kista area of Stockholm and offers an exciting stay for both business and leisure travelers. With 201 rooms, a spacious restaurant, five meeting rooms, and a fitness and wellness area, we strive to provide our guests with a personal and memorable hotel experience. The hotel is part of IHG, one of the world's largest hotel chains, and is operated by the Latvian hotel operator Mogotel Hotel Group. Together, they opened the first voco in the Nordics on September 2, 2024.
As we are in a growth phase, we are looking for a Front Office Supervisor with a focus on Guest Experience. This is a full-time position that begins with a probationary period, including day and evening shifts as well as weekends.
As a Front Office Supervisor at voco® Stockholm – Kista, you will be part of our Front Office team and are responsible for ensuring a first-class and memorable guest experience. As a Supervisor, you are expected to lead and inspire your colleagues towards set goals. To succeed in this role, you need to be self-driven, proactive, and solution-oriented.
In addition to the everyday reception duties, you will be responsible for:
- Guiding the reception team to ensure a high level of service according to brand guidelines.
- Responding to guest reviews across all our channels and actively following up on guest complaints quickly and effectively, as well as identifying problem areas.
- Being a key person in managing our guests and IHG One Rewards® members. Ensuring that their specific needs and preferences are met in consultation with other departments.
- Supporting onboarding and training by contributing inspiration and expertise in guest relations and experience matters.
- In consultation with the MOD (Manager on Duty), leading and making decisions for the hotel during your working weekends.
Qualifications:
- Experience working in hotel reception is required, preferably in a leadership role
- Good communication skills in Swedish and English; additional language skills are an advantage
- A genuine interest in building relationships and inspiring others
- Experience in problem-solving with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Previous experience within an international hotel chain is an advantage
- Previous experience with Opera PMS is an advantage
