Medical Secretary for the Children's Emergency Department at Astrid Lindgren's Children's Hospital

About the position

In the area of Operations Administration, we gather all hospital administrative resources under Production Staff. Our operations consist of approximately 600 medical secretaries, administrators, and executive assistants. At the Children's Emergency Department in Solna, you will become a central part of the operations where you work side by side with doctors and nursing staff. Your main tasks include cash management, medical documentation, diagnosis and procedure registration, as well as other administrative tasks such as travel for medical purposes.

You will work on a rolling 4-week schedule and your weekly working hours are 32:20 h.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Educated and experienced medical secretary
  • Experience with DRG in outpatient care
  • Good knowledge of the Swedish language and medical terminology
  • Good knowledge of and experience working with the medical record system TakeCare

Meritorious:

  • Cash handling experience
  • Experience working night shifts
