JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As one of our licensed veterinary nurses is retiring, we are now looking for a new licensed veterinary nurse. Your main task will be to work at our clinic with small animals. This includes anesthesia, having your own patients for vaccinations and similar tasks, X-rays, assisting veterinarians, as well as cleaning and hygiene work. Customer interaction in the form of telephone advice, resource planning, and reception work will also occur.

You are the face of the District Veterinarians and should be a good ambassador for the District Veterinarians in every customer contact. You will need to meet customers who are worried, stressed, and sad, and therefore you must be able to handle people professionally and work towards reducing anxiety and increasing security. We are a relatively small clinic, and you need to be flexible and self-driven, open, and not afraid to pitch in where needed. Since a large part of our operations consists of emergency care, no day is like the other. You will need to manage multiple cases simultaneously, be stress-resistant, and have excellent teamwork skills as we solve the clinic's tasks together.

We are a clinic that constantly wants to improve and develop together; you will become a natural part of a resource that contributes to positive development and drives the development towards set goals.

QUALIFICATIONS

To apply for this position, a veterinary nurse license is required, or alternatively, a level 3 animal caretaker with anesthesia experience. Previous experience is an advantage. We wish for you to be engaged and solution-oriented to work for the team's best interests towards common goals. You are accommodating and attentive in your approach to create a good customer meeting and provide the customer with a good experience with us.

Since our operations partly consist of emergency care, a good eye for prioritization and planning of work is required to create a good flow in the workday. An interest in hygiene issues is desirable.

We place great importance on personal suitability, social competence, and are looking for an employee who values good collaboration and contributes to team spirit. Since we also have ambulatory operations in the field, a B driver's license is a requirement.

We conduct ongoing selection and interviews, so do not hesitate to send in your application. Warm welcome with your application!
