The Operations Support Department has received a new expanded mission to provide additional services at our offices across the country. Since the assignment is new, you will be part of the development of the mission and have the opportunity to influence the design and implementation of the agency's tasks.
We are now looking for eight unit managers with placement locations: Luleå, Umeå, Linköping, Örebro, Jönköping, Karlshamn, Malmö, and Trollhättan.
The overarching purpose and goal of the office responsibility is to ensure a good, pleasant, and safe office environment for all employees at the office or offices for which you as a manager are responsible, in collaboration with the operations located there.
As a unit manager with office responsibility, you have operational responsibility, personnel responsibility, and budget responsibility for the operation of the office. You ensure that your unit provides services within the Office Service service catalog to Försäkringskassan as well as other authorities according to current agreements.
As a unit manager with office responsibility, you also have a significant role within Försäkringskassan's geographical preparedness structure. You need to be well-versed in legal requirements, regulations, and governing documents that affect security protection, information security, preparedness, and total defense.
Based on the above, it is part of the role of office-responsible manager to lead the introduction of a culture that promotes a good office community and effective local coordination.
In addition to regular responsibilities, as a unit manager within office service, you are responsible for:
- Decision-making authority (related to the budget for the operation of the office, common welfare funds, and placement of operations, minor changes regarding the use of the office's spaces and functions)
- Well-being, coordination, and collaboration for the local office
- Responsibility for assigned tasks in the systematic work environment efforts and fire safety work
- Responsibility for the office's routines for security and preparedness
As a unit manager, you are the manager closest to the employees and the operations. You are responsible for leading and driving the daily work based on the department's mission and goals, where the state value base permeates your work. Through your leadership, you communicate clear expectations, follow up on goals, and provide your employees with the right conditions to take their responsibility. You have personnel responsibility as well as results and follow-up responsibility for the teams in your unit. You also represent Försäkringskassan in external collaborations.
The units will consist of approximately 6 - 14 employees. Through close leadership, you create the predictability, security, and sustainability necessary for employees to take their responsibility and meet the need for change. You create understanding of context, direction, and the goals the department has set and develop the plans your operations need. As a unit manager, you are a support for the area manager and you are part of the area's management group where you contribute with your expertise and engagement. You adapt and exercise your leadership in a way that creates conditions for employees to use their judgment and competence.
The position involves handling confidential information, which places high demands on proper management. Therefore, it is important that you, who will work with us, have a high security awareness.

- have a good understanding of Försäkringskassan's mission

Other
Eight positions, permanent, full-time, with start date according to agreement. A probationary period may be applicable. In accordance with Försäkringskassan's security guidelines, background checks will be conducted in this recruitment. For this position, Swedish citizenship is required.
