We are looking for a section manager for Production Planning with expertise in planning and experience in leading the development of planning processes and tools. The role involves driving the implementation of digital solutions and automation.
To meet the increased demand for our products and support the company's rapid growth, we need to develop a more efficient and predictable Supply Chain with a focus on series production philosophy. We are investing in strengthening our resources in planning, master planning, and production systems.
Your Role
As a section manager in planning, your role is to be responsible for the management and governance of the section in its daily operations. You will lead a team of Production Controllers and Series Planners. You will be an important part of the Management Team for the area where you report to the area manager.
A central part of your role involves developing and implementing strategies, operational goals, and plans that support the section's objectives and contribute to its success. It is also about building and maintaining close relationships with other departments such as assembly, production technology, production quality, and purchasing to ensure smooth collaboration and effective workflows.
Monitoring and staying within budget is another important part of your role, which requires accuracy and understanding of financial processes and goals. Additionally, you play an active role in the department's management team, where you contribute your expertise and perspective to support and shape overall strategic decisions.
In the managerial role, it will be crucial to maintain high delivery standards according to the QLE principle. At the same time, a significant part of the responsibility will involve developing and improving operations.
The area of work will be broad and involve many internal contact points, primarily within production with involvement from producing units and several key roles within the Supply Chain. The assignment includes optimizing daily operations with a focus on timely delivery as well as effectively managing capital binding.
Your Profile
We are looking for someone who wants to make an impact and has a strong drive to continuously improve working methods and implement new approaches. It is important that you enjoy working and influencing at a cross-functional level. We value humility and a lack of prestige in your way of being, as well as a focus on collaboration, which for us means that you not only share your knowledge and expertise but are also receptive to others' viewpoints.
You have a strong drive in your work and an ambition to push forward. Your resilience in handling changes in complex organizational structures is impressive, and you have a pronounced focus on results and delivery.
To be qualified for the position, you should have a university degree or equivalent work experience in Supply Chain Management (SCM). It is also important that you have experience working with a modern ERP system and Business Intelligence (BI). Your experience working with planning and/or purchasing, as well as your curiosity and good knowledge of modern production philosophy, are significant to us.
We would like you to attach both your CV and a cover letter, clearly describing why you are the right fit for this role. Tell us how your experience, skills, and drive can contribute to our team and our future development. Please note that we work with ongoing selection, and the position may be filled before the application deadline has passed.
