We are looking for a licensed psychologist who wants to work as a temporary psychologist, with the possibility of continued employment after the temporary position, for the activities of the Foundation 1000 Opportunities. 1000 Opportunities works for an equal society free from violence. We run ungarelationer.se – the national support and knowledge platform to counteract boys' violence against girls and violence in young relationships, as well as the Ellen Center where we support young people exposed to sexual exploitation. In addition, there is also a reception that serves both activities.

Young people aged 15-25 who are exposed to sexual, psychological, and physical violence in a relationship, as well as those who are or have been exposed to prostitution and sexual exploitation, seek help at the reception. Here, you support young people in escaping their vulnerability and offer crisis support, trauma-focused treatment, or other appropriate psychological treatment. Collaboration and parental support are also common interventions. No referral is needed to visit the reception, and the content and duration of contacts are tailored to the individual's needs. The organization is currently in an exciting phase, and as part of our goal to achieve an equal society free from violence, we are now striving to develop support for those who have perpetrated violence in a relationship.

In addition to the reception's support, young people are also offered support via the chat Ungarelationer.se, staffed by the foundation's trained volunteers, and via the Ellen Center's chat, staffed by the foundation's psychologists. Every year, we support thousands of young people online and through support and treatment at our reception.

Currently, there are 8 people working at the workplace, of which two are psychologists. As one of the psychologists will be on parental leave, the opportunity for this one-year temporary position with the possibility of extension is now available.

The job offers great opportunities for varied tasks and planning your own time. As a psychologist in the organization, you will, among other things:

• Conduct treatment at 1000Mottagningen, which serves both Ungarelationer.se and the Ellen Center. The sessions primarily take place at the reception, but the organization is currently developing the possibility of offering support and treatment digitally.
• Staff the support chat for young people exposed to sexual exploitation.
• Supervise volunteers in their support work.
• Read and quality review communication between those seeking support and volunteers.
• Provide telephone advice to parents, those seeking support, and other professionals.
• Participate in and lecture at internal and external training sessions.
• Represent 1000 Opportunities as an expert in contexts related to the support area.
• Join networks, working groups, and reference groups related to the foundation's focus areas.

To work as a psychologist in the organization, you must:

• Be confident in your professional role, enjoy working independently, and take significant personal responsibility.
• Plan, organize, and prioritize your work effectively.
• Share the feminist values of 1000 Opportunities.
• Have experience working with sexual violence and other forms of victimization.
• Have experience and training in trauma-focused treatment, such as TF-CBT, PE EMDR, NET, Somatic Experience.
• Enjoy sharing your experiences and knowledge for the development of the organization and want to be involved in driving violence prevention work.

It is an advantage if you have:

• Been engaged in the women's and girls' shelter movement in some way.
• Worked with individuals exposed to prostitution and/or violence in a relationship.
• Worked with individuals who have perpetrated violence in a relationship.
• Experience working with adolescents and young adults.
• Experience working with complex cases where methods and approaches need to be adapted.
• Training in more than one trauma-focused treatment method.
