Beroendecentrum Stockholm is Sweden's largest addiction clinic. We offer support and help to individuals with problems related to alcohol, drugs, medications, or gambling. Our services include acute and round-the-clock care, local outpatient care, and highly specialized treatment. We also conduct university healthcare, research, and education.

The workplace

We are now looking for a nurse for the Forensic Psychiatric Outpatient Care.

The clinic provides highly specialized forensic psychiatric outpatient care in collaboration with Forensic Psychiatry Care Stockholm and the correctional services. We receive patients who have been sentenced to treatment by the court or receive treatment according to LRV/LPT. We also accept patients referred from general psychiatry and other addiction care. The clinic is located at Helix, the forensic psychiatric building in Huddinge. Would you like to contribute to cutting-edge addiction care? Then this is the job for you!

About the role

The tasks are varied and include assessments, sampling, medication management, motivational and supportive conversations, and documentation. Treatment contacts are often long-term, focusing on alliance-building and communication. Supervision is included as part of the work. The job requires an active approach regarding assessments, investigations, and other treatments based on evidence-based methods.
