About the position
The Unit for Health Professions plays an important role in the care provided at Karolinska University Hospital. We are now looking for a physiotherapist for our section within Cancer, Infection, Inflammation, and Women's Health in Huddinge. Here you will meet engaged and knowledgeable colleagues and have the opportunity to work in a stimulating work environment.
Within the section for Cancer, Infection, Inflammation, and Women's Health, we meet patients in both inpatient and outpatient care in the following areas: pulmonology, rheumatology, upper abdominal surgery, urology, gynecology, hematology, nephrology, endocrinology, kidney and liver transplantation, and stem cell transplantation.
We are now looking for a physiotherapist for our inpatient care with a primary focus on nephrology and endocrinology. The patients' care needs vary as we receive patients with different underlying diseases. No day is the same; therefore, a willingness to develop personally and within your profession is of great importance. We strive to offer patients high-quality care and ensure safety in treatment.
The work involves being able to conduct and evaluate functional assessments, postoperative care, promote physical activity to prevent complications, and prescribe aids when necessary. You will work both independently and in a team and participate in educating the department's staff.
Supervision of Swedish and international students is a natural part of your position. Your tasks also include contributing to the development of, for example, care programs and workflows based on evidence and the patient's needs.
This advertisement is for a temporary position until 2026-05-31. Start date by agreement. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Qualifications
Requirements:
Licensed physiotherapist with permission to practice within Swedish healthcare.
Meritorious:
Experience working in inpatient care.
Master's degree and/or specialist competence.
