About the Workplace

The clinic is part of Praktikertjänst, Sweden's largest private healthcare provider.

The clinic has been in Karlskoga for several decades. In September 2024, we moved to new and modern premises. At the same time, Praktikertjänst opened a health center in the same building. We are now called Backa Dental Care & Oral Surgery. The clinic has two experienced dentists, two dental hygienists, and three dental nurses. Our Oral Surgeon also works at the clinic two days a week. For a long time, the clinic has provided all types of high-quality general dental care and oral surgical specialist care. We have a large and constantly growing patient base. The clinic also receives referrals for patients, including for complete implant treatments.

The reception is state-of-the-art. We have four treatment rooms where we also work delegated during our examination sessions. In our surgery-adapted room, surgical treatments are performed. Our ambition is to continue broadening our expertise and to provide patient-safe and professional care in a pleasant working environment.

Job Responsibilities

We offer you a varied job such as assistance, prophylaxis, and delegated responsibility during examination sessions. If you have experience in or wish to develop your skills in assisting with oral surgical procedures, there are good opportunities for that. You will also work administratively in the reception with patient contacts, invitations, and appointment scheduling. We will assist you with onboarding in all job tasks, skills development, and guidance as needed. Praktikertjänst has a great policy regarding wellness grants for all employees.

Qualifications

You are a trained dental nurse with at least a few years of experience and fully proficient in the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

Personal Qualities

We are looking for someone who is caring, engaged, and always puts the patient's best interests first and has a good clinical understanding. It is important that you have good collaboration skills, are collegial, and enjoy varied tasks. We also see that you have a good ability to overview, plan, and prioritize. Of course, your personal suitability is something we place great importance on.
