About the role

As a mechanical designer at Linde Material Handling, you will work with the entire development process, from concept to finished product. Your assignments will vary from simpler adaptations to more complex and challenging designs for their customized trucks and equipment. You will be part of the company's R&D department and be part of the design team where you collaborate closely with colleagues. The team has expertise in mechanical design, electrical design, technical preparation, hydraulic development, and technical documentation.

Your main responsibilities:

• Mechanical design in 3D (Autodesk Vault/Inventor)
• Preparation of manufacturing documentation
• Technical support to production, sales, and after-sales
• Documentation for CE marking
• Participation in risk analyses
• Strength calculations

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who has:

• Post-secondary technical education such as a university degree or engineering degree in a relevant field.
• Broad technical competence and several years of experience in design work focusing on mechanical design.
• Experience in technical documentation, documentation, and CE marking
• A strong interest in technology and good system understanding

You communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

You are a person who enjoys collaborating with others, whose drive and engagement inspire your colleagues. You carry out your tasks in a solution-oriented, meticulous, and responsible manner.
