Description

The preschool activities include seven departments with children aged 1-4 years and two departments with 5-year-olds. The preschool is located in a newly built eight-department building as well as in the facilities of Nilaskolan. The preschool is now looking for 1 childcare worker 100%. The position is a temporary replacement for a parental leave employee. As a childcare worker, you have an important job, providing children with security and a stimulating environment while they are at preschool.

Job Responsibilities

Your work at the preschool involves challenging the children in the group under the guidance of preschool teachers. In collaboration with your colleagues, you are responsible for driving and promoting the educational work in the group with the goals of the curriculum in mind. To contribute to advancing the educational work, you are required to document the children's learning together with the team. You will also lead parent meetings and be responsible for development discussions with your colleagues. Contact and collaboration with parents are important parts of the job.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a trained childcare worker and passionate about pedagogy. Experience from the last two curricula and experience with development discussions are advantageous. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Knowledge of Umesamiska is a merit.

We expect you to be responsible, curious, and have a good willingness to cooperate. We would like you to have the ability to see the child's needs and be familiar with the curriculum and can implement it in practice. Your approach and attitude are your most important work tools. We expect you to have the ability to build trust and confidence in the child group and work team.

Due to the law on suitability checks, an extract from the Police's criminal record must be presented upon employment.
