Responsibilities

In your role as a classification specialist, you will be responsible for classifying materials that come into our facilities in Region Mitt, focusing on solid materials. You will be responsible for classifying and reclassifying materials based on treatment techniques.

You will act as a bridge between sales and production, manage material deviations, train other functions in simpler classification procedures, coordinate material needs with production, and ensure that materials are classified correctly and end up in the right place. You will have an important coordinating role where you communicate daily with various functions at the facility and maintain a holistic perspective.

Your profile

We are looking for someone with experience in handling different types of materials at a recycling facility. You have an educational background as a chemist or have acquired equivalent knowledge through similar education or work experience. We prefer that you have knowledge of EWC codes and treatment codes, regulations and directives related to the Environmental Code, and/or experience from a waste facility with its own landfill.

As a person, you are communicative, meticulous, and collaborative. You are proficient in IT systems and a skilled user of the Office suite. It is important that you communicate fluently in Swedish, both spoken and written, and also have a good command of English. Naturally, you also have a strong interest in environmental and resource issues. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.

The position is located in Stockholm, Högbytorp, which requires a driver's license and access to a car.
