Job Responsibilities

The Department of Quantum and Nano-Physics is seeking Master's students for summer positions as Laboratory Assistants in quantum technology research.

The successful candidate will work alongside PhD students and postdoctoral researchers on tasks that may include: simulation, design, micro and nano-fabrication, cryogenics, microwave electronics, optical measurement techniques, and data analysis. Active research projects within the department focus on quantum-limited measurements, quantum communication, and quantum information processing.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • You must be enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program at a Swedish university

Meritorious

  • Student at KTH
  • Master's student in applied physics with completed courses in Quantum Technology and Quantum Physics at an advanced level

About the Employment

The employment is temporary according to agreement - for up to 3 months, with start date as agreed.

The assistant position is intended for summer work between June 1 and August 31. The exact weeks for the work will be scheduled in discussion with the employee. The position is intended for Master's students as a summer job, between their coursework during the spring and autumn terms. Summer jobs will be offered to qualified applicants depending on the availability of funding.
