About the Position

Would you like to work in a central and varied role where you can combine technical expertise with business development? Textilia is now looking for a production engineer who wants to contribute to improving and optimizing the washing processes at the facilities. This is a key role where you will have the opportunity to work strategically and operationally to ensure sustainable and efficient production. The role involves frequent travel within Sweden, where you will visit laundries to support the operations on-site. International travel occurs less frequently but may be relevant when collaborating with, for example, your Danish colleagues. We hope you can start as soon as possible. For this position, you can be based at the headquarters in Örebro or Stockholm.

Responsibilities

As a production engineer, you will work on developing and structuring the washing processes at Textilia's facilities by analyzing, optimizing, and implementing technical improvements. You will act as a technical expert and support the local organizations in their daily work while driving projects to ensure sustainable and efficient production. The role involves close collaboration with the technical manager and maintenance staff, where you are responsible for training personnel, conducting tests of new technology, and developing technical solutions to improve production flows.

You lead technical development projects and ensure that processes are optimized, streamlined, and standardized.
You are responsible for supporting and training maintenance and operations personnel in technology, systems, and maintenance strategies.
You conduct tests and analyses of new technology, compile results, and provide recommendations for further development.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who has:

A university degree in engineering, operations, maintenance, or equivalent experience.
Experience in project management and business development with a technical focus.
Experience working hands-on in a production environment, with relevant industries such as: laundry, pharmaceuticals, food, and industries with a high level of automation.
The ability to understand, optimize, and standardize technical processes.
Good knowledge of spoken and written Swedish and English; Danish is a plus.
A valid driver's license, as travel to laundries is included in the position.
