Your role ​

For this role, we are looking for someone who is a mechanic but also has knowledge in electricity. As a mechanic in Quality Service, you will perform maintenance work on equipment in our laboratories as well as on our sampling facilities in all processing plants in Malmberget. Your tasks will consist of solving arising problems and planning future maintenance efforts. Therefore, we are looking for someone who enjoys working to find new solutions. You will also perform condition checks, inspections, and improvement work. We see that you thrive in a team environment and appreciate a workplace where order and cleanliness are important. You are meticulous and enjoy a role where structure and quality are in focus. The team consists of mechanics, technicians, and engineers who work together to find new solutions and drive the business forward. 

This is what you bring ​

• High school education is required, education in electricity is an advantage
• Driver's license B is a requirement for all positions at LKAB
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, is required
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is an advantage
• Experience working with lifting and pressure devices is an advantage
• Experience in mechanics, electricity, hydraulics, and pneumatics is an advantage
• Experience with ABB800xa is an advantage
