ABOUT THE POSITION
As a chemical handler with our client, you will use your knowledge of chemistry to support production, sales organization, administration, and the company's external customers. You will not work in a lab environment, but will be an important partner in the practical work on-site in production and with the company's customers.
Here you will be welcomed into a close-knit and unpretentious team where your work will involve chemical handling, analysis of incoming goods and hazardous waste, as well as informing and educating other employees and customers about risks in waste management. An important part of the job is to stay updated and follow current legislation and ensure proper handling of waste. The role includes both administrative work and practical problem-solving – a varied everyday life where you will learn a lot in a short time!
The assignment begins as a consulting assignment with the ambition that the employment will transition to our client.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities
- Sorting, packaging, classifying, and treating hazardous waste
- Conducting sampling and analysis and preparing documentation according to applicable legal requirements
- Conducting chemical risk assessments and preparing waste declarations
WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO
- Has basic knowledge of chemistry and a strong interest in the field, which should be clearly stated in your application
- Is computer literate and proficient in the Office package
- Speaks and writes fluently in Swedish, as this is required for the execution of tasks
- Has a B driver's license
It is meritorious if you have:
- A post-secondary education in chemistry
- Knowledge of ADR, the Waste Ordinance, and the Environmental Code

Other information:
- Start: Immediately, considering notice period
- Extent: Full-time, with good chances of over-recruitment
- Location: Borlänge. Since public transport connections to the workplace are limited, it is recommended to use a car to get to work.
- Criminal record: Since the work involves handling health and environmentally hazardous materials, a check in the police criminal record will be conducted before employment.
