About the position

Do you have solid experience in industrial production where welding and reading technical drawings have been important skills in your work? We are looking for a communicative, meticulous, and solution-oriented person for our client Essverk in Grängesberg. Here, you will play an important role in controlling and improving quality in production – focusing on reading technical drawings and welding operations. You will closely collaborate with both the production team and the quality manager, becoming the technical expert in quality work. You will also drive improvement work in close collaboration with both customers and subcontractors, so you should enjoy building trusting relationships both outside and within the company.

Your responsibilities

• Ensure quality requirements throughout the production process
• Perform control measurements and manage measurement protocols
• Work on quality improvements and support the production team in technical issues
• Be a key player in dialogue with customers regarding quality requirements and production development

About you We are looking for someone with a solid technical background in welding and reading technical drawings who is pedagogical in communication and enjoys collaborating in teams as well as working independently. You have a strong interest in production and quality issues and a solution-oriented approach that you transfer to colleagues and customers.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of reading technical drawings
• Understanding of welding operations
• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written

Meritorious

• Knowledge of machining
• Experience with ISO management systems (mainly ISO 5817 and 8501)
• Experience with administrative tasks
• Driver's license B and access to a car
